With a background in movie-making and some inspiration from a dear friend, nascent VHS label Video Hoarder main brain Patrick Summers is preparing to re-animate one of the rarest zombie flicks of all-time via slabs of Limited Edition analog. Corpse Eaters was the brainchild of Mr. Lawrence Zazelenchuk, the owner of a Canadian drive-in called The 69 Drive-In (!!!). It’s largely shot-on-video, chock full of low-brow humor, non-sequitur and all kinds of experimental antics, created by a counter-culture collective consisting of self-proclaimed outsider artists from Michigan. These shot-on-video skits contain improvisational entertainment that just drip with...

By Josh Schafer   Here’s a radical slice of educational video era obscurity brought to my analog attention by my fellow Videovore and all-around radical rewind-inclined dude Matt Ridgeway. My fellow Tapeheads, I give you, the Video Letter from Japan! This advert was harvested from the January / February issue of Creative Classroom Magazine circa 1988, and offers up a series of six home video kits displaying themed glimpses of daily life in Japan through the eyes and experiences of Japanese students.   A full look at the advert for Video Letter from Japan! Bring on the international analog education!...
