On this mighty Friday we've got some serious fresh VHS news from the video vindicating crew over at Cult Movie Mania, a label you may recognize for some radical analog re-animations in league with cult film entity Grindhouse Releasing (Cannibal Holocaust, Cannibal Ferox). CMM is back at it again teaming up with the folks at Grindhouse Releasing to unleash a double dose of Fulci flicks on our favorite format with Limited Edition VHS releases of the Italian cult classics Cat in the Brain and The Beyond.

Each tape is limited to 75 copies and come housed in all new artwork with The Beyond available in three cover color variations (green, purple and red with the red cover variation now sold out – dang, that was quick!). Both releases are also VHSouped up offering fully uncut versions of the films supplemented with some groovy visual extras. The Cat in the Brain VHS offers Lucio Fulci’s heroic appearance at the 1996 Fangoria Weekend of Horror with a bonus trailer reel, and The Beyond in amped up with a Necrophagia music video (directed by the one and only Jim Van Bebber!) and along with a run of trailers. Both Limited Edition releases come committed to colored videocassettes with Cat in the Brain on Giallo Yellow and The Beyond on Gore Red VHS.
