WEIRD VISIONS SOCIETY is a micro-budget, post-dubbed, ambient horror / sci-fi anthology consisting of five tales woven together by the hallucinatory mind-melding of ceremonial slime drinking humanoids from another dimension. Filmed in and around Philadelphia and New Jersey over the course of three years, WEIRD VISIONS SOCIETY honors in earnest the ooze-forward DIY effects of homemade horror films from the 1980s, conjoining with the otherworldly audial and dialogue characteristics of Italian horror from the same era.
Bound together by sludge, the tales follow protagonists along their wayward journeys through the surreal and fantastical, the supernatural and horrific. Come, sip deep from the ritual ooze, and behold bog creatures, ghoulish grandmothers, cyber putrefaction, alien ruination, and the mournful, wailing ghosts of the Slugvoid Cemetery. Once you’ve entered this mind-altering circle of fantastical storytelling, you will become one with the slime.
