Inspired by the real life conspiracy theory, Pizzagate, an amatuer journalist and a far-right militiaman team up to expose the ugly truth behind rumors involving sex cults, a pizza place and the lizard people.

While employed by a far-right radio shock-jock, Karen Black, an amateur journalist, learns of a demented plot to kidnap children for sexual and ritualistic purposes by the democratic deepstate, AKA a global cabal of elite world leaders. This cabal serves the mysterious race of reptilian humanoids known as ‘The Lizard People’. Karen deduces that the U.S. government is hiding the truth, so she takes it upon herself to go on a road trip from Waco to Austin, TX, where the children are being imprisoned in the basement of a local pizzeria. She aims to make a documentary in order to prove the existence of this horrible rumor and bring it back to her boss, Terri Lee.

Due to the dangerous nature of her mission, she employs the help of an eclectic far-right militiaman armed to the teeth, named Duncan Plump. Together, the two form an odd bond that makes them the perfect kind of crazy for the job. Through a series of mishaps, misdirection and a deadly encounter, we learn about this militiaman and his dark past. The secrets that he hides and the guilt he harbors.

The two finally arrive in Austin at nightfall. Parked before the pizzeria in Duncan’s battle-van, they enter the front door ready to film the horrors they think lay within. What happens, changes the course of their lives forever.
