LOOKING GOOD is the lost workout tape from Laura Gemser!
Laura Gemser, best known for her iconic performances in the BLACK EMMANUELLE series, attempted to cash in on the booming celebrity workout video craze of the early 80s with LOOKING GOOD. Gemser's contribution to the genre was abandoned after production, never making it to VHS… UNTIL NOW!
A team of toned and athletic dancers sweat and groove (sometimes in baffling slow-motion!) on a set drenched in abstract 80s design sensibilities. Meanwhile, Gemser delivers her instructions from a wicker peacock chair, marking the only time she sits in the chair famously associated with Sylvia Kristel’s Emmanuelle.
Directed by Corliss Randall, the wife and sometime producing partner of exploitation legend Dick Randall (producer of DIRTY SEVEN and BLACK DEEP THROAT), LOOKING GOOD is a slice of film history and a time capsule of 80s celebrity pop culture, available for the first time on its intended format.
This is the first press limited to 100 copies, housed in a full-color slipcase and pressed on classic black videocassettes.
