Created by Will Farina aka utopia_ltd, SLEEPSCAPES is crafted using a blend of analog tools—video mixers, CRT TVs, VHS tapes, and video cameras, focusing on the soft and psychedelic dimensions of videofeedback. SLEEPSCAPES paints with that videofeedback, sending the output back into itself to create liquid video patterns that are both abstract and soothing. Computers are only used to rescan and share the artwork, preserving the authentic textures of the analog process.
SLEEPSCAPES uses analog glitch art as a form of color therapy, offering a visually striking but also deeply relaxing and meditative experience. Play this tape as you fall asleep for a more restful and wholly unique slumber.
